I was born and raised in Allen, TX and have lived in the DFW area for most of my life. I knew as early as high school that my dream was to become a pediatric nurse practitioner. I attended Texas Tech for both my Bachelors and Masters in Nursing (wreck ‘em Tech!). The majority of my nursing career has been in pediatric oncology & hematology. I was a travel nurse for a few years and worked for some amazing hospitals across the country during that time. After that I worked at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas for 3 years in both inpatient and outpatient oncology while attending grad school. I am a Board-Certified Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
My husband and I have two rescue animals at home. I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and reading. I’m very much looking forward to joining and serving the Decatur community!
