I was born and raised in Azle, Texas and, other than college, have always lived in the DFW area. I knew from an early age that I wanted to be in the medical field and, during my teen years, knew my calling was in nursing. I went to Texas Tech University for my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and spent a year after graduation working at University Medical Center in their Family Care Unit. Following that, I moved back home to the DFW area and spent the next 7 years working at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas in their newborn nursery, while getting extra experience in their NICU and Special Care Nursery.
I received my Master of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman's University in May of 2017 and became a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care. I currently live in Sanger, Texas with my husband of 13 years.
We have 4 dogs who keep us entertained daily and, when not working, I enjoy traveling, reading, and spending time with friends and family. I am very excited to be working in a growing and thriving community and look forward to creating long- lasting relationships with my patients.
