Welcome to August Pediatrics! We are a full service pediatric practice serving children from newborn to 18 years of age in Wise and surrounding counties. We offer services for ADHD, Well Visits, Immunizations, and more!

Our goal at August Pediatrics is to provide your child with the most up-to-date, professional care available in the context of our signature friendly approach. We want your visit to our office to be as comfortable and efficient as possible!

  • Anissa August, MD

    I am a native Texan, born in Houston, the oldest of five children. My Mom is a retired teacher and now works as a volunteer in her local hospital. My Dad is a pharmacist and part time rancher. Growing up, my family moved around a lot while my parents completed their education and pursued their careers.

"REQUEST AN APPOINTMENT": 1) NEW PATIENTS - PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE; 2) USE THE PATIENT'S NAME/DOB AS THE CONTACT & IN COMMENTS, STATE THE NATURE OF THE APPOINTMENT; 3) THIS REQUEST IS FOR NON-URGENT APPOINTMENTS (SAME DAY SICK, CALL THE OFFICE). CALL OUR OFFICE IF NO RESPONSE WITHIN 48 HOURS.

PHREESIA: How to check-in!? First time users will receive a text/email to complete Registration forms.  Subsequent appointments will receive a text/email to confirm information and ask necessary visit questions.  These reminders are sent 3 days prior to the appointment.  This MUST be completed before we are able to check the patient in for their appointment.  

Appointments have a 10 minute grace period.  If the appointment is no-showed, there will be a $25 fee assessed on your account for all sick visits, $40 fee assessed for well exams and follow-up appointments and a $100 fee for consults.
